I’ve been wondering recently who on earth has soft drinks like Coke, Fanta, Pepsi gone totally global when people’s beer preference has gone the other way and become completely parochial? For example, Coke guzzling men in Queensland and New South Wales wont touch eachother’s XXXX and Toohey’s to save their life.
And its the same the world over. Beer Lao in Lao, Chang in Northern Thailand, Singha in Southern Thailand, Myanmar Beer in Burma, Angkor Beer in Cambodia. Your beer choice is an expression of patriotism.
Does anyone have any ideas why this happens?
