The Obama surge across middle America even picked up North Carolina (Republican since Carter in 1976) and Indiana (Republican since Johnson in 1964), but failed narrowly to win Missouri.

With Americans waking up tomorrow going to the polls, here is my final prediction: Obama beating McCain by 338 electoral college votes to 200.

With only four more days to go before polling day here is my penultimate election prediction.
From whatever angle you look at it, regardless of the ‘Bradley Effect’ scaremongering, Obama will be the eventual winner by 348 college votes to 190. Feel free to comment if you think I’m reading the polls incorrectly.
